Bring Me The Horizon Marks 20 Years of ‘Count Your Blessings’ With Anniversary Shows

Bring Me The Horizon is turning back the clock to 2006 with a series of anniversary shows celebrating the 20th birthday of their polarizing debut album, Count Your Blessings. According to Clash Magazine, the band will play the record front to back at Manchester’s BEC Arena on July 10 and July 11, billing the event as Count Your Blessings | Repented and adding a stack of early-era bonus material. The run is framed as a “reactivated” recontextualization rather than pure nostalgia, with a reworked, re-recorded version of the album arriving July 10.

So far, Bring Me The Horizon has announced two nights at Outbreak Presents in Manchester, with a lineup of current heavy hitters including Static Dress, Rolo Tomassi, Dying Wish, Heriot, Car Underwater and Still In Love. The second show was added quickly after the first sold out, NME reported, underscoring demand for a set that revisits the band’s raw deathcore roots. The move is a deliberate nod to longtime fans and a new generation discovering the band’s earliest sound.

Anniversary Run and Re-Recording

Outbreak Presents will host both Manchester dates on July 10 and 11 at BEC Arena, with fan and Outbreak pre-sales opening April 16 and general tickets going on sale April 17, per NME. The shows are 14+ and include the full album plus rarities, with the band calling the re-recorded Count Your Blessings | Repented a sharper, heavier take that leans into the original’s raw edges while using modern production and two decades of experience.

The Count Your Blessings era was notoriously divisive. As Louder Sound notes, the album polarized critics and crowds at the time, and frontman Oli Sykes later told NME that Bring Me The Horizon were “a very divisive band” then. The anniversary shows and re-record signal a more confident relationship with that chapter of their catalog, turning what was once a lightning rod for backlash into a centerpiece of celebration.

What It Means for SoCal

For Southern California fans, the most immediate connection is the band’s existing Los Angeles date on the horizon. Hollywood Palladium has already locked in a Bring Me The Horizon show on April 23, 2026, part of the broader Ascension Program 2 North American run that the band has previously announced.

While the Count Your Blessings | Repented anniversary set is currently announced only for Manchester, there is precedent for BMTH to bring special-production concepts stateside after they debut overseas. Editorial observation: with the Hollywood Palladium already on the calendar and the band’s recent touring pattern of testing new ideas in Europe before expanding, it would not be surprising to see some anniversary material or a curated throwback segment appear in LA next year, even if the full album play isn’t replicated.

For now, SoCal fans have a confirmed Hollywood Palladium show to look forward to in April 2026, and more details on the anniversary run—including whether any US dates will be added—are expected in the coming months.
