Interpol will return to the U.S. in March 2027 for a nine-date tour with Deafheaven supporting on most shows, as JamBase first reported. The run, supporting their latest album “This Mirror Weighs A Ton,” kicks off March 16 in New Orleans and concludes March 27 in Sayreville, New Jersey.
According to Consequence, Deafheaven will open eight of the nine concerts, with the Memphis date on March 22 being the sole exception. The tour includes stops in Texas, North Carolina, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia, featuring venues like Dallas’ Bomb Factory and Washington D.C.’s The Anthem. This marks Interpol’s first major stateside tour since their recent North American run and European dates with Bloc Party.
Tour Details and Ticket Information
The nine-show stretch spans March 16–27, 2027, with presales beginning October 28 and general tickets on sale October 30. Per Pitchfork, the tour follows Interpol’s European leg with Bloc Party and December radio festival appearances, including a stop at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum for KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas on December 12. The band’s eighth studio album, “This Mirror Weighs A Ton,” was released in August and features longtime touring bassist Brad Truax as a full contributor for the first time.
Southern California’s Connection
While the newly announced 2027 tour does not include Southern California dates, Interpol will perform in the region this December at the Kia Forum for KROQ’s annual holiday show. This performance continues the band’s strong connection to Los Angeles, where they have consistently drawn large crowds at venues like the Greek Theatre and Shrine Auditorium. Their post-punk sound has long resonated with SoCal audiences, making any future tour expansion to the area likely.
Looking ahead, Interpol’s 2027 routing suggests potential additional dates may be announced, possibly including West Coast stops. For now, local fans can catch the band this December or watch for updates on potential 2027 additions.
